The Bicyclist and Pedestrian Times is an electronic newsletter distributed free of charge to active citizens in the Chippewa Valley. We started in 2005 in an effort to share information about projects that would affect walking and biking around Eau Claire. Since then we’ve expanded our coverage area to include news and issues from the greater Chippewa Valley.

Reading the BPTimes will give you information about projects in Chippewa, Eau Claire, Dunn and Pepin counties. We also seek out and share interesting articles from around the state and the country.

Our dedicated staff of volunteers work to promote healthy lifestyles and active transportation through articles that encourage and educate. Each issue offers

In addition, we provide updates and share information with the Chippewa Off-Road Bike Association (CORBA) and the Friends of the Chippewa River State Trail.

How to Subscribe

To subscribe, send an e-mail to Jeremy Gragert at jgragert@gmail.com. Then, we will send you an e-mail each time we publish a new edition. We have also sent invitations to participate in our winter biking workshop and help assemble bicycles for community outreach. Of course we will not sell, rent or lease our mailing list to anyone. We currently have almost 300 people subscribed to receive the BPTimes electronic newsletter. We hope you’ll join too.
